I want to go to the 2010 National ACDA Conference in Chicago but I'm lacking the money!

Does anyone know of any grants or scholarships that could help in funding a trip to the National ACDA Convention?

Also, I remember there being an article in the Choral Journal about writing grants to go to conferences, but which month and year was it?

Does anyone have a grant they have written to go to a conference I could see to write a proposal?

Any help would be much appreciated!

Eastern Division offers Collegiate awards and will be offering awards to retired ACDA members. If you are Eastern Division watch our ChoraLink and/or webpage for information later this fall once National announces fees etc..

There have traditionally been some scholarships through the "Youth & Student" areas for college students, but I'm not aware of similar opportunities for young teachers. Hopefully, someone can point you toward possible grant sources, as that's probably your best option.

Hi there! Do you have a local Arts council? You aren't needing a huge sum of $$ maybe you can get a grant designed just for you.

If you are a member of a music fraternity like Sigma Alpha Iota, sometimes the group awards scholarships to conventions and professional development.
