Manhattan Concert Productions is currently looking for groups to participate in our 2011 EXCEL A Cappella Academy - Nashville. I hope that this event fits into your goals for the 2011 year.
First and foremost, the nature and philosophy of this event is friendly, cooperative, educational and NON-COMPETITIVE. This is great for groups preparing to enter their competition season or preparing for recording sessions by allowing them to workshop their set with some of the best clinicians in the business.  Participation in this festival allows group to hone their skills and get valuable experience and feedback.
It's a great event for established semi-pop, collegiate, and high school groups and for director's and groups wanting to expose their students to the genre or begin a contemporary a cappella ensemble at their school. It's a very nurturing festival and and caters to all performance levels.
Here are some of the highlights that I think make this event unique:
This event is a weekend-long a cappella academy geared towards preparing groups for spring competition season and annual recording sessions.   The festival is packed with Performances, Clinics, and Master Classes led by some of the most respected voices in the ACA world. We invite you to join us this year in MUSIC CITY - Nashville, TN, January 28-30, 2011
The EXCEL A Cappella Academy brings together top industry professionals, collegiate and professional a cappella groups, and fans in a unique, educational atmosphere.
