Great idea to create these networks, but it only works if lots of people in your 'world' (in my case, the singing/ choral world) are on-line in the same way. Don't know about anyone else, but the proportion of people in my (UK) choirs and singing workshops who have Twitter or Facebook accounts is negligible. Maybe they're too busy actually singing!
Not sure if it's quite the same as mentoring, Tim, since it's more of a broadcast medium than a one-to-one medium.
