I too would like to see this feature:
"See Posts by User"
It is common on forums. It helps make the forum more
valuable by allowing users to find information from participants
whom they have found to be especially helpful.

If you click on a user's name, it will take you to their user profile page, whose sidebar will show the most recent contributions by that user, although not limited to forum messages. Are you looking for something more extensive?

Hi Allen,
I'm checking out your page. Are you referring to the "ChoralNet Communities" list? If so, the first link I clicked on doesn't seem relevant (http://www.choralnet.org/view/257743). What am I missing? Is there a "Recent Contributions" section?
....
Oh, you mean on the far right -- "Recent Items by this User"! I hadn't noticed that. Yes, that is along the lines of what I'm looking for, but just not limited to "recent" activity. I'd like to see all of someone's posts. I'm sure there are some gems from years ago, and I'm sure a feature like this would continue to be useful as ChoralNet grows.
Thank you!

Yes, that wouldn't be that hard to implement. If others think that would be useful, I'll add it to my to-do list. I should warn you, however, that most of the info would still only go back to April 2009, when we switched from an email-based list to a website forum. We've made a few efforts to cross-link older messages with current usernames, but it's incomplete.

I think the profile shows threads that a user started, but not contributions to existing threads. For example, I expect my profile to show the "Most recent activity" thread that I began, but not this post in "Seconded".
It can certainly be worth checking a correspondent's circumstances and point of view before posting, so I see the sense in this suggestion.
Nigel.

Here's your sidebar as I write this:

It appears differently to me. I only see things I started. Thank you for the illustration.
Nigel.
