The Twin Cities Jewish Chorale will present “Hanukah: a Musical Celebration!” on Sunday, December 12, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. The concert is a feast of Jewish music celebrating the Festival of Lights, from 18th and 19th century works by Marcello and Lewandowski to new arrangements of traditional tunes to Tom Lehrer’s playful “Hanukah in Santa Monica.”  The Chorale welcomes Minneapolis’s Shir Tikva Children’s Choir as its special guest.  The concert will take place at the Sabes Jewish Community Center, located at 4330 Cedar Lake Road South in St. Louis Park, MN.  Tickets are $12 regular admission, $10 for JCC members, and $6 for seniors and students; they can be purchased online at twincitiesjewishchorale.org or at the door.
