Charity Christmas Concert with the Lea Singers on 9th December 2010

Location: England, United Kingdom
Choir type: Chamber Choirs and Vocal Ensembles
Voicing: Mixed

The Lea Singers have given a traditional Christmas concert at Harpenden Public Halls almost every year in the 50 years since the choir was established, most often fundraising in aid of local charities, and raising well over £75,000 over the years. The 2010 concert is no exception, as the Grove House Hospice, a day hospice providing free specialist care in St Albans, Harpenden and Dacorum, will be raising funds with a raffle.

This traditional christmas concert is an event for all the family and children will feature in the programme too, through the participation of children's choirs from the Harpenden churches of St Nicholas and Our Lady of Lourdes.

In addition to traditional carols for all there will be punch and mince pies in the interval.

The concert will take place in Harpenden Public Hall, Southdown Road, Harpenden, Herts and details about time, ticket pricing and ticket ordering can be found on the Lea Singers web site at
