A Rose in Winter

Angelica, a women's chamber choir directed by Marie Caruso, will present "A Rose in Winter" in Dobbs Ferry on Saturday, December 4th, 7:30 pm., and in New York City on December 19th, 3:00 p.m.  Angelica will sing  medieval, renaissance, and contemporary music celebrating the wonder and beauty of the season. Featured works include thirtheenth-century devotional songs from the Cortona Codex, medieval English carols accompanied by portative organ, modern settings of Ave Maria by William Hawley and Miklós Kocsár and John Tavener's The Lamb.
