The Concert Singers, a community choir in Westchester, California under the direction of Jenni Brandon, will present their holiday concert On Winter’s Eve: Songs of Winter and Celebration featuring works that tell the stories of a winter night long ago, the Earth in winter, and the traditions and celebrations of songs on a holiday evening. Music featured on this program includes exciting arrangements of holiday favorites such as Winter Wonderland, Variations on Jingle Bells, and Deck the Hall.  Randol Alan Bass’ work A Symphony of Carols features an incredible arrangement of traditional carols in a fresh and exciting work for choir . 

 

Also featured on the program will be beautiful arrangements of Hanukkah songs as well as Earth Grown Old for SATB and piano by music director Jenni Brandon and other works to celebrate this season of light on a winter’s eve.

 

This program will be presented on Sunday, December 5th at 4pm at Westchester United Methodist Church (8065 Emerson Avenue, Los Angeles).  Tickets are a suggested donation of $15 and may be purchased at the door.
