The Oak Park Concert Chorale (OPCC), led by director Paul Lindblad, will present Christmas Lullaby, a Christmas Outreach Concert on Sunday, December 19, 2010 at 4:00pm, at Our Lady of Sorrows Basilica, 3121 W. Jackson Boulevard, Chicago, IL. Admission is free. OPCC remains dedicated to performing varied and exciting music. Join us for an evening celebrating the exquisite music of the Christmas season.  From peaceful lullabies to the glory of majestic carols, this inspiring concert opens OPCC’s 30th Anniversary season, and features Poulenc’s Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël  (Four motets for the time of Christmas) in addition to carols, anthems and motets from England, Hungary, France, Germany and America both ancient and modern.  In honor of our 30th Anniversary, the Chorale will premiere newly commissioned carols by local composers Paul Bouman and Carl Schalk.We hope you will be able to join us for this festive Christmas concert. It will be an evening to remember.
