If you want to learn more about gospel music and incorporate it into your choir's repertoire - here's your chance! From Thursday January 27-Sunday, January 30th, 2011 LIFT YOUR VOICE! Gospel Music weekend will include open rehearsals, workshops and concerts with Guest Clinician, Dr. Anthony "Tony" Leach from Penn State University and director of Essence of Joy! gospel choir. NOT TO BE MISSED!  Check PA Sinfonia orchestra's webpage at www.pasinfonia.org for a complete listing of events.  Some events are FREE.  Choral workshop for singers and praise leaders/choir directors will take place on Saturday, January 29, 2011 beginning at 9:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church in Allentown, PA (3231 W. Tilghman St , at the intersection of Cedar Crest Blvd. and Tilghman St.).  That evening's concert will feature a Mass Choir from the day's workshops with guest clinician Dr. Tony Leach and several local choirs - Rejoice! from Muhlenberg College, Bel Canto Children's Chorus, Valley Women and also Greater Shiloh's Church Music Ministry from Easton, PA.  Come and Sing - Lift Your Voice! 7:30 p.m. concert is $10 admission at the door, Free for Children under 12.  Also, hear Essence of Joy ! directed by Dr. Leach at 4 pm (freewill offering) on Sunday, January 30th at Christ Lutheran Church, 1245 W.
