The Valley Concert Chorale's own accompanist and internationally known concert pianist, Mr. Daniel Glover, will share his masterful talent at the piano in a benefit for the Chorale. The concert will be on Saturday February 5th at 7:30 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Livermore. Mr. Glover’s program will feature compositions by Franz Liszt to commemorate the 200th Anniversary of the great Hungarian pianist and composer’s birthday. Additionally, Mr. Glover will play Schumann’s First Piano Sonata, Bartok’s Suite, and works by the lesser-known Russian composer Sergei Liapunov, written in the style of Liszt, one of which will be his stirring Elegy in Memory of Liszt.
