Diablo Women's Chorale (DWC) presents a vocal jazz workshop with renowned jazz composer, arranger and clinician Dr. Kirby Shaw for all singers, teachers, choral directors, and voice coaches with an interest in jazz.  Two sessions will be offered April 23rd at the Lafayette Public Library in Lafayette, California, the morning focusing on rehearsal and conducting techniques and interpretation of four of Kirby Shaw's jazz choral arrangements with DWC, and the afternoon featuring Kirby's "Soul Clinic" outlining techniques for more expressive personal jazz styling of songs, and a solo jazz master class with local vocalists.
