Joining current artistic director Mary Kay Geston is founding director David Scholz who will conduct three pieces performed on Great River Chorale’s inaugural concert. Additionally, the ensemble will present the world premiere of "Spring Carol" by David Dickau commissioned for the ensemble's tenth anniversary. A pre-concert conversation with  David Scholz and David Dickau is scheduled at  6:45 p.m. and a reception will follow the concert. Former Great River Chorale members are invited to sing on the grand finale, "Ride On, King Jesus!" arranged by Moses Hogan. Those who wish to do so are asked to attend a brief rehearsal at 6:30 p.m. at The Church of St. Augustine on April 30 (music will be provided).Tickets will be available at the door and are $15 for adults, $12 for senior citizens age 65 and older, and $5 for students (with student ID).
