Spring Serenade with Magnum Chorum

Location: Minnesota, USA
Choir type: Chamber Choirs and Vocal Ensembles
Voicing: Mixed
As spring blooms, Magnum Chorum offers a musical celebration of life, love and song—and 20 years of lifting up our voices for you! Set your soul soaring to the romantic Serenade to Music by Ralph Vaughan Williams with violin, soloists and Shakespearean text. Among music by dear friends, you’ll hear Paulus’ Road Home, Psalm 96 by Ralph Johnson, the premiere of Kenneth Jennings’ Morning Person, and music by Stan Scriven and Zeb Highben. We celebrate our roots as Jin Kim, founding Music Director, conducts works by Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, and Shenandoah by James Erb. Favorites by the Christiansens, deeply inspired conducting, and splendid surprises promise an exhilarating evening!
