Manhattan Concert Productions now looks ahead to our final performance in Carnegie Hall of the 2011 season.
On Saturday, May 21, the Masterworks Chorus will take the stage under the direction of Dr. Bradley Ellingboe. The singers and all-professional New York City Chamber Orchestra will perform Ellingboe’s lovely Requiem, a wonderful piece to welcome the spring. Opening the performance, esteemed conductor and composer Z. Randall Stroope will conduct the National Festival Chorus performing the following works:

Chorus of the Servants (from Don Pasquale) Gaetano Donizetti
Sanctus (from Requiem in d minor) Gabriel Faure

Soldier Won’t You Marry Me American Folk arr. Robert DeCormier
The concert will begin with a debut performance by the excellent North Central University Choir under the direction of Dr. Larry Bach. Hailing from Minnesota, the choir will present distinctive and varied shorter works.
