The Twin Cities Jewish Chorale presents its spring concert, "Jewish Voices: Music of Minnesotan and Israeli Composers" on June 12, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. at Sundin Hall. In "Jewish Voices," works by five local composers -- Elizabeth Anderson, Cantor Scott Buckner, Judi Lamble, Charles Lilienfeld, and Michael Winikoff -- will be juxtaposed with those of Israeli composers Avni, Carmel, Wilensky, and Ben-Haim. The concert will highlight the similarities and differences between the choral music of composers half a world apart. Tickets to "Jewish Voices" can be purchased online at twincitiesjewishchorale.org or by calling 612-644-2348. Tickets are $12.00 regular admission, $6.00 for students and seniors. The Twin Cities Jewish Chorale is an inclusive, multigenerational concert choir dedicated to performing the full range of Jewish music and providing outreach and education. All activities of the TCJC are handicapped accessible.
