VI Concierto "MOLTO ALLEGRO"

Location: Spain

Coro CANTORÍA HIPPONENSIS de Valencia (España)
OUR NEXT PERFORMANCE.- VI "MOLTO ALLEGRO" Concert.

The painting from our good friend and contributor to CANTORIA HIPPONENSIS, Luis Lonjedo , is the basis for the poster announcing our traditional Coral Year Closing Concert that is already in its 6th edition.
Sunday, June 19 th at 19:30 at Sala Iturbi of Palau de la Musica of Valencia, we will offer to our distinguished audience the best selection of all what has been accomplished along this Course. In the first part of the concert, and accompanied by Orquesta Barroca and Professor Arturo Barba Sevilla at the piano, we will perform polyphonic pieces from G.P. Palestrina, D. Buxtehude and GF Händel. We will have the extraordinary participation of Ms. Alicia Merelo Ramírez as Soprano, all being conducted by our Principal Conductor Ms. Inmaculada Burriel Montoro .

The Unión Musical "Santa Cecilia" Band from Chelva (Valencia) under the expert baton of Mr. Juan Manuel Alarcón García , will be in charge of the second part of the Concert, both in instrumental interpretations and with the participation of the Coral. The main theme of this block will spin around movies musical tracks with compositions from Eden Ahbez , Andrew Lloyd Webber, Hans Zimmer and Leonard Bernstein.

Entrance to the concert will be free, however, limitations imposed by the maximum capacity of El Palau concert house, will require that tickets are collected from the ticket boxes of the theatre, from one hour prior to the start of the concert.

We hope that you will enjoy a very pleasant evening of Music and Coral Singing, and we say goodbye until September, when the new 2011-12 Coral Course will begin.
