The public is invited to sing along with choral group Albany Pro Musica at its “Summer Sing” set for 7pm Tuesday, August 2, at the University at Albany Performing Arts Center. The annual event benefits the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York.
This year’s selections will be Carl Orff’s popular Carmina Burana and two movements of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Dona Nobis Pacem. David Griggs-Janower will conduct.
In lieu of an admittance fee, attendees are asked to bring non-perishable food items that will be donated to area food pantries, as
well as some small offering of food or drink to share with other singers. Music will be provided, but singers are asked to bring their own scores if possible.
