Dvorak’s beautiful Stabat Mater, universally recognized as an immortal masterpiece, will be performed by two large choruses,
the Hudson Valley Singers of Westchester County and Hét Concertkoor visiting from the Netherlands,
at the sumptuous Church of St. Paul the Apostle near Lincoln Center on October 29th, 2011 at 8PM.
The Hudson Valley Singers, celebrating its 60th anniversary this year, was hailed by The New York Times as one of Westchester's "most ambitious" choruses.
Recently, the group sang major oratorios of Handel, Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Schumann, Orff and Honegger,

Together with Hét Concertkoor, four outstanding soloists, and the New York Metamorphoses Orchestra, the Hudson Valley Singers are excited to present this special concert.
