SOUNDFORTH: NEW CHORAL EDITOR
Date: September 21, 2011
Location: South Carolina, USA
Soundforth is pleased to announce that Molly Ijames has been promoted to Choral Editor. Miss Ijames previously held the position of Production Assitant and has assisted in choral editing the past two years.
Larry Carrier, who recently retired, held this position for over 20 years. Miss Ijames will pick up from where he left off and continue the tradition of fine choral music for which Soundforth is known. She brings to this position a balance of understanding the music publishing industry and the art of choral music.
"I couldn't be happier with Miss Ijames at the helm," said Richard Nichols, Senior Manager of Soundforth. "Already an accomplished composer, it has been wonderful to see her mature as an editor. I look forward to watching her interact with all of our composers and to continue to develop our catalog of sacred choral music."
SoundForth is a sacred music publishing company, which produces sheet music and commercial recordings. Focused on choral and instrumental music for the church and school, SoundForth has a full catalog of music for choir, instruments, keyboard and handbells.
