Sunday - November 13, 2011 at 4:00 p.m.

St. John's Festival Choir and Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Lawrence Baker present Gabriel Faure's Requiem (original chamber orchestration)  and John Rutter's Feel the Spirit (a cycle of spirituals for mezzo-soprano, choir and orchestra). The program will also include the local premiere of Jonathan Willcock's In Paradisum.

 

Soloists include Deborah Swider (soprano); Sara Hagopian (mezzo-soprano); and Jonathan Oehler (baritone). The concert will also feature members of The Bel Canto Children's Chorus (Joy Ondra Hirokawa, Director).

 

 

Admission is free and a reception follows the concert.
