Vox Femina Los Angeles Presents their first concert of the Season, "And Justice For All"
On Saturday, November 12th, Vox Femina Los Angeles will be performing our fall concert “And Justice For All” at Zipper Hall in the Colburn School of Music in downtown Los Angeles across from the Disney Concert Hall.
Share our passion for fairness as Dr. Iris Levine conducts Vox Femina
through an exploration of the issues of equality and immigration.
Highlighting our concert will be Los Angeles composer, Mark Koval’s
multimedia work “We the People,” which tells the story of the fight for
marriage equality in narration, video and song.
Repertoire includes Pastures of Plenty/This Land is Your Land which
describes the travails and dignity of migrant workers in North America and was made famous by Woody Guthrie. The lyrics of Fences speak about how the universe was created without fences, and putting up borders between groups of people isn't the answer to stop immigration.
Tickets Prices are: Presale: $30 Premium Seats, $25 General Seats, Senior/Student $22.50, Groups of 10 or more $22.50. All tickets at the door are $35
