THERE IS A ROSE, a new carol cantata for Advent/Christmas by John Parker & Robert Sterling, will be presented by the Sanctuary Choir of Pine Street United Methodist Church, 441 Pine St., Williamsport, PA, at the 10:45AM service on Sunday, December 18, 2011. The cantata, through narrative poetry, well-known carols, and original music, poignantly compares Christ to the universal symbol of beauty -- the Rose.  A chamber orchestra will accompany the cantata, which is divided into:

                                             Suite III - Proclaim the Joy

                                             Suite IV - When Love Was Born
