CONCORD SINGERS HOLIDAY CONCERT DECEMBER 11TH
 
Summit, NJ:  The Concord Singers, will present its holiday concert, “Wintersong”, on Sunday, December 11 at 4:00 PM at Calvary Episcopal Church, 31 Woodland Ave., Summit, New Jersey.
 
The featured piece is Antonio Vivaldi's "Gloria", accompanied by the Philadelphia Mandolin Ensemble. Other works include the US premiere of "This Summer Child" by David Hamilton of New Zealand, as well as two new pieces by American composers Peter Robb (Oregon) and Sheena Phillips (NJ). Works by Ola Gjeilo, Michael Engelhardt, John Rutter, and Brant Adams are also on the program.
 
Donations at the door are $12 for adults, $5.00 for children under 12.
 
About the Concord Singers
The Concord Singers is a non-auditioning women’s chorus that offers a friendly musical home to both novice and experienced singers. The chorus is under the direction of Michael Sanflippo and is accompanied by Caroline Parody. New members are welcome. Rehearsals are Monday evenings from 7:15 – 9:45 PM at Calvary Episcopal Church, 31 Woodland Avenue in Summit. (www.concordsingers.org)
