Hodie (This Day) is a one-hour composition for chorus, orchestra, children's choir and soloists that tells the Christmas Story from the Nativity through Epiphany. It is told with narrative texts from the Gospels and poetic reflections by Miles Coverdale, George Herbert and Ursula Vaughn Williams. All are set to Vaughn Williams' inimitable music with color, sensitivity and dramatic power.
