Announcement: Composition Contest Winner

eChoir recently posted a “Call For Scores” in connection with our inaugural composition contest. Thank you to all who submitted scores. There were many submissions, and I enjoyed looking through each one. I am pleased to announce the winner:

The winning composition for this project is Michael John Trotta’s “I Will Keep Still.” It is a beautiful, singable, well-structured piece with a terrific text by Bengali poet, Rabindranath Tagore. Congratulations, Michael!

Future eChoir projects will have similar contests. When we do, I hope to again have the privilege of reviewing so many wonderful compositions, and interacting with so many talented composers.
