A WINNER !
Our St. Andrew’s Hymn Competition has a winning entry, submitted by The Rev. Prof. Adrian A. Low, of Staffordshire, UK. One of more than 30 hymns submitted, his text rose to the top in the estimation of the judging committee. Authors from around the globe submitted texts to our competition.
Adrian Low, the winner, teaches at Staffordshire University, in the United Kingdom, as professor of computing education. Additionally, he is faculty director for research, resources, and enterprise. In 2010, he completed his MA in Theology and Pastoral Studies at Nottingham University. He is a clergyman in the Church of England, and curate of the parishes of Alrewas, Fradley, and Wychnor in Staffordshire.
As the first part of the competition is now completed, keep watch for an announcement regarding a hymn tune search for Low's text.
