The Abington Choral Club will present its Annual Spring Concert  ~ “From Broadway to the Big Screen “ ~ on SaturdayMay 5, 2012 at 8 PM in the Abington Senior High School Auditorium, 970 Highland Avenue, Abington, Pa. 19001

 

ABINGTON CHORAL CLUB WILL PRESENT ANNUAL SPRING CONCERT.

Under the direction of Peter Hilliard and accompanied by Roburt Gajdos, the 85-voice chorus will perform music in celebration of this venue. The concert will include selections from “Candie” , “Lion King” ,”Carousel” , “Cats” along  with“Les Miserables“, “Man of La Mancha” , “Music Man”,  “Porgy and Bess”,  “Purlie”,  also from “Seasons of Love”, “ShowBoat”, “Singing In The Rain”, In addition the male members will perform “There is Nothing Like a Dame” from“South Pacific” and the female members ,”Stormy Weather” from “ The Cotton Club Parade of 1939”. 

 

No tickets are required and admission is free. However donations will be gladly accepted at the door so that ACC may continue its out reach program throughout the community.
