Counterpoint Vocal Ensemble, based in Montpelier, Vermont, and directed by Nathaniel G. Lew, presents "Songs of Ecstasy", a survey of sacred choruses spanning five centuries including Gwyneth Walker's new settings of mystical poems by American Trappist monk Thomas Merton:
