Sacred Easter choral music with brass quintet

Can anyone provide suggestions of good quality sacred choral music for Easter Sunday, that includes brass quintet and possibly organ as well?
The choral parts need to be SATB at least, but divisi is also fine.  This is for a Cathedral choir, so needs to be quality music, but can be from any time period.
Is there anything by Gabrieli that would work?  I would appreciate any suggestions anyone has, as we are getting tired of singing the same music every Easter, and wish to present some alternative suggestions to our choir director.
Thanks in advance.

Ha.  Had to chuckle a bit at this one.  (Wanting suggestions for your director, rather than the request coming from a director!)

If you want Gabrieli, perhaps In Ecclesiis?  It is available via Kalmus.  It is scored for organ, double choir (lots of solos), three trumpets and three trombones.  It is certainly a bit long for an anthem (7 min +), but would be really cool music for Communion perhaps.

Ray,

Christ Our Passover by Gerre Hancock is for choir (SATB), organ and brass.  There is a congregational part as well.
Whcih cathedral in BC is this for?

Cheers.

Hi Ray,
I would recommend Haec est dies by Jacobus Gallus (Handl). It is a double choir piece; however, the Concordia edition includes brass parts to replace the second choir. The instrumentation is not quite a quintet--2 trumpets and 2 trombones.

Best,
John

John Leavitt's "Easter" is a pretty impressive piece for choir and brass, and not easy.  It may be out of print though.  One that is in print is Jeremy Bankson's (I believe that is the last name) setting of This Joyous Eastertide, for choir, brass and organ, published by Morningstar.

Thanks for all the great suggestions.  I appreciate the ideas, and will certainly look into them.
Myron, I sing at Christ Church Cathedral in Vancouver.

I strongly endorse Daniel Moe's "If ye then be risen with Christ."
