The Chorus of Communities in Essex County, NJ will present its’ 23rd Annual Spring Concert “Te Deum Laudamus” on April 29th at 3:00 PM.
The ensemble is under the direction of Artistic Director, Richard Morgan and will be accompanied by Brian Preston Harlow. The concert will be held at St. James Episcopal Church, 581 Valley Road in Upper Montclair, NJ.
Soloists performing will be Lynn Costello, Soprano, Michael Edwards, Tenor and Kevin Kelly, Baritone.
The program will include the Te Deum to Empress Marie Therese by Franz Joseph Haydn and the Te Deum by contemporary British composer, John Rutter. In addition to these two great works, the program will include choruses from Haydn’s Creation, How Lovely is Thy Dwelling Places from Brahm's Requiem and How Lovely are the Messengers from Mendelssohn's St. Paul Oratorio. Tickets are $15 ($12 for Students and Seniors.)
