“San Gabriel Valley Choral Company Goes to the Movies”
The concert will present choral favorites from the silver screen, featuring solos, duets, small ensembles, and the full chorale. Selections include classics like Get Happy, Alexander’s Ragtime Band, The Summer Knows, and Somewhere Over the Rainbow, as well as songs from more recent films such as A Beautiful Mind, O Brother Where Art Thou, and Pocahontas.
Please join us in an informal setting with refreshments and fabulous auction items.  Prizes typically include theater tickets, hotel stays, cruises, gift baskets, sporting event tickets, concert tickets, museum passes, Disneyland tickets, comedy club passes, and more.

Founded in 1995, the San Gabriel Valley Choral Company is a non-profit choir based in Monrovia, CA. The Choral Company sings a broad repertoire, including classical, spirituals, pop, jazz, opera and theater.
Mr. Ruggieri is also the Music Director of the famed Gilbert and Sullivan repertory company Opera a la Carte, as well as Music Director of the 32-year-old University Campus Choir in Westwood. For five years he was also the Artistic Director of the Los Angeles Bach Festival and for seventeen years he was Artistic Director of the Cambridge Singers in Pasadena.
