This Saturday, April 21st, the Marywood University Campus Choir, accompanied by a chamber ensemble of faculty and professional instrumentalists, will perform Johannes Brahms's Ein deutsches Requiem. The performance will also feature soloists Eileen Hanisch, soprano, and Charles Unice, baritone. Brahms's Requiem is a moving testament to the souls of the departed and those who mourn their passing. It was the piece the New York Philharmonic chose to perform immediately after 9/11, because of its unsurpassed beauty and overwhelming power. Come hear this exquisite masterpiece at 7:30 PM on April 21st in the Sette LaVerghetta Center Auditorium on the Marywood campus. Admission is free.
