Macalester Choirs: NIGHT SINGS TO MORNING

Join the Macalester College Concert Choir and Highland Camerata and conductor, Matthew Mehaffey for a program of music about the mystery of night and the brightness of morning.  The concert will feature the Minnesota premiere of The Garden by Moonlight by Macalester alumnus Jeffrey Van (Class of '63).  Mr. Van will also be featured on the guitar playing  Night Sings to Morning, his setting of three William Blake poems.  The concert will feature poetry by Agee, Dickinson, Goethe and Lowell, and music by Brahms, Lauridsen, Debussy and Van.
