Dear choral directors,

 

I'm looking for feedback for the purpose of curricular reform in music theory courses.  We are gathering data about in-service music educators' perception of the relevance of the music theory courses they took in undergraduate music ed programs.  I have collected information from quite a few band directors and elementary general music teachers, but choral directors are under-represented in the mix.  I would really appreciate your time in taking the survey regarding the concepts and skills that you believe to be relevant to you now, and of course, those that are not.  I would be happy to share the anonymous results to any who are interested.  The link to the survey is:
