Mendelssohn Club Presents "Big Sing - Schubert"
Back by popular demand! Experience the Schubert Mass in G “from the inside out” in our popular BIG SING format. Witness the transformational power of music connecting communities as Mendelssohn Club welcomes the Philadelphia Master Chorale (led by Changho Lee) and the African Episcopal Church of St. Thomas Chancel Choir (led by Dr. Jay Fluellen) in the 3rd annual BIG SING. Explore the music of the Korean and African Episcopal traditions and join with hundreds of local singers to perform Schubert’s Mass in G. Whether you come to sing or just to listen, this multicultural experience is perfect for an after work excursion with colleagues or the whole family!
An ice cream social sponsored by Turkey Hill Dairy will immediately follow the concert. BIG SING//Schubert is presented through the generous support of PNC Arts Alive.
Tickets can be purchased online at www.mcchorus.org ($23 general admission, $17 for students) or at the door ($25 general admission, $20 for students). Scores of the Schubert Mass in G will also be available for rental at the door.
