Neuratron Phtoscore

Has anyone had experience with the Neuratron Photoscore program with which you can scan a piece of music (I'm thinking along the lines of public domain Renaissance pieces) and then, say, import them into Sibelius for editing? When I've tried this before, the results have not been good: lots of misreads of the score, etc.  I'm wondering if there the scanner needs to be super-high tech and/or any other factors that might be impacting my lack of success with the Photoscore. Thanks for any input.
