Technology Question

Is there anyone that can suggest an a app for the iPad that serves a good metronome ? Also if you have found any other apps that would be helpful in the choral classroom I would be very interested to know about them. My school is providing teachers with iPads so I am in research mode.  Thanks!

My favorite metronome is Tempo by Frozen Ape. It also has a tuner.

The Frozen Ape app suggested by Lee is good.  Also, if you're using a music score-reading app like forScore, some of those have a built-in metronome.  Here's a video of forScore's metronome in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DvL5roxfvwk

For your research, I suggest you check out choral educator Chris Russell's blog, Technology in Music Education.  He just did several presentations about iPads in the choral classroom which I blogged about here.  I'll include a modest plug for my own blog as well: Technology for the Classical Singer.  Have fun and good luck!
