Voices of Musica Sacra in Walnut Creek, California, is proud to announce the
appointment of Mark Tuning as Music Director. He has served as
Assistant Director for the San Francisco City Chorus for the past
seven years, and serves on the music faculty of the Conservatory of
Vocal and Instrumental Arts in Oakland.

Mark has served as Director of Music Ministries for churches in
Oregon, Illinois, New Mexico and California since 1985 and has been
Music Director for Mt. Diablo Unitarian-Universalist Church for the
past nine years. He has directed numerous community and college
choral and orchestral groups as well as being tenor section leader and
soloist in many professional music ensembles in Oregon, Illinois,
Seattle, Washington and San Francisco.
He holds degrees in Music Education and Choral Conducting from George
Fox University and the University of Oregon.
