The choir that’s putting Welsh cancer patients on TVDate: October 10, 2012
By Kristie McCrum
CARDIFF, WALES -- Creating a choir for cancer patients might sound depressing. After all, whether they’re newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, or in remission, they are people whose lives have been changed dramatically by a disease which affects almost 20,000 new people in Wales each year. But The Big C Choir is not only unique but joyful and life affirming.
A group of 35 people, ranging from 10 to 80 years old have been drawn together by cancer charity Tenovus and production company Exclusive TV and have been singing together since March. ![]() |
