Bradley Chorale Seeks Venue In Central IndianaDate: October 10, 2012 Views: 927 Location: Indiana, USA
The Bradley University Chorale Spring Tour has an opening in central Indiana (Indianapolis or environs) for a late afternoon or evening concert on Sunday, March 17, of 2013. The eclectic and varied program will include a Mozart Missa brevis and music by Giuseppi Corsi, Alberto Ginastera, György Orbán, William Averitt, Colin Britt, Paul Carey, Stephen Hatfield, Augustus Hill, Stacey Gibbs, and others. A string trio will accompany the Mozart. Most of the music is appropriate for a Lenten concert or evensong service, and we could adjust the program to fit your needs.
We do not require a set fee for our concerts, though we do request a free-will offering or some kind of financial help for our bus expenses. We would ask for dinner at your church before or after the concert, housing for about 40 people for Sunday night, and breakfast in homes or at the church Monday morning before we leave.
The Bradley Chorale has performed for many state music conferences and two ACDA Central Division conventions. We promise you an inspiring and enjoyable concert. Our singers are excellent ambassadors for Bradley University and always enjoy making new friends on Chorale tours.
