NHSCC’s first program features a mixture of unique choral gems and seasonal music, and also includes a few carols intended for audience sing-along. Music comes from a wide range of choral composers, including Handel, Stroope, White, Kantor, Friedell, Roberton, and Rosen.
The Community Choir began weekly rehearsals in early September at the Logan Inn in New Hope, with an early December community concert as one of their first goals. “We’ve got ourselves a genuine community chorus started here,” comments Rosen. “We’ve got a variety of singers with a variety of skill sets, and with each rehearsal, we can see, feel, and hear it growing and coming together.”
