The South Metro Chorale is excited to
announce its holiday concert, Peace on Earth, directed by Russell Adrian. Accompanied by string quartet, piano, and percussion, the program includes sacred and secular music ranging from the Renaissance to the contemporary. A featured song titled Hope for Resolution reflects the theme by beautifully weaving European chant with a South African freedom song. Joining these two diverse musical styles celebrates diversity and exemplifies peaceful coexistence. Other selections include Betelehemu (Bethlehem), Trilogy for the Christ Child, What Sweeter Music Can We Bring? and Sleigh Ride. Please join us for what promises to be a wonderful performance!
