The New York Virtuoso Sextet Presents Twelfth Night: Renaissance Christmas Music on December 7 at St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church in ManhattanThe New York Virtuoso Sextet, members of The New York Virtuoso Singers, Harold Rosenbaum, Conductor and Artistic Director, will present Twelfth Night: Renaissance Christmas Music, the second concert of their 25th Anniversary season on Friday, December 7 at 8:00 PM at St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church, 87th St. between Broadway and West End Avenue in Manhattan.
Twelfth Night: Renaissance Christmas Music is a varied program including devotional music, music in unison, duets, trios, quartets, quintets, sextets, performed by six members of the New York Virtuoso Singers and some accompaniment by hand-held percussion instruments.
Concert repertoire will include works by Marenzio, Sweelinck, Des Prez, Senfl, Costeley, Morales, Praetorius, Monteverdi, Pygott, Vaet and Castro.

Founded in 1988 by conductor Harold Rosenbaum, The New York Virtuoso Singers has become the country's leading exponent of contemporary choral music.
