Hello! My name is Brianna Connaughout and I am working on my
thesis at A&M Commerce for music ed. I am running out of time
to get some information on teacher techniques that have worked
with young men. If anyone has experience in this area and is
willing to fill out a 10 minutes survey by Friday please let me

I teach privately and work with several young men with unchanged and changing voices. I am happy to fill out your survey. Did you realize you can send the survey to respondents via our choralnet.org home page? If you click on the name of the respondent, it will allow you to send us a private e mail.

Brianna,
There's a list of 41 middle school master teachers (choral) who contributed loads of materials to my book, Strategies for Teaching Junior High/Middle School Male Singers--Master Teachers Speak (Santa Barbara Music). Check your library and try to contact choral directors in your city and see if you can borrow it and get their names/schools. Given the shortness of time, I'm sure you'll hear from a number of choral directors with your current post! My best to you in your research!

I am only a second year teacher, but I do work with middle school boys in general music classes, choirs, and one-on-one coaching for our school musicals. I'd be happy to fill out your survey if you think it would help.
