Tuesday Nite Jazz is a curated music series offering live jazz, blues, and gospel on the second Tuesday evening of each month, when the historic sanctuary of St. Paul United Methodist Church, organized by recently freed slaves in 1873 at what is now 1816 Routh Street, becomes the premier listening room in the city.

 

The Sandaga Jazz Band is the justly praised house band every Tuesday night at Sandaga 813, Dallas Observer's 2012 pick for Dallas' Best Jazz Club. Tuesday Nite Jazz extends a special welcome to the National Conference of the American Choral Directors Association.  The concert starts at 6:30 p.m..  A reception will follow the performance at about 8:30 p.m.
