Finding biographical informationDate: March 6, 2013 Views: 674
Can anyone help me locate biographical information on the 19th Century composer, August Baumgartner (1814-1862)? I have checked the Grove dictionary as well as the Musica database, with no luck. Manuscripts of Baumgartner's compositions are located in the music collection of the Bavarian State Library in Munich. Any suggestions would be appreciated (unfortunately, I do not have access to MGG or Riemann).
