Choral Music of the Americas Symposium May 3-5, 2013 | North Dakota State University, Fargo, N.D. The North Dakota State University School of Music, in partnership with the American Choral Directors Association, present the NDSU Choral Symposium: Choral Music of the Americas.
The symposium will showcase choral performances and academic examinations of choral music styles and traditions of the Americas, including those of Canada, the United States, Mexico and other Latin American countries.

Schedule
The conference schedule can be found online and includes panels ranging from the Choral Music of Argentina to Jamaican Spirituals to the Influences of Canadian Choral Music.
Featured Presenter: Jorge Cozatl
A number of experts in the field of choral music will present during the Choral Music of the Americas Symposium, including conductor and baritone Jorge Cozatl of Mexico. He is an active in the choral music of his native country in addition to the United States, Latin America, and Europe. Mr. Cozatl will present on the choral traditions of Mexico at the symposium.
