Join us for this all-Bach program, featuring Cantata 140, "Wachet auf, ruft uns die Stimme" ("Sleepers Awake"), and two virtuosic motets for double choir: BWV 225, "Singet dem Herrn" and BWV 226, "Der Geist hilft." Chorale Artistic Director Kathy Saltzman Romey leads spirited performances of these gems from Bach's choral output, which are sure to uplift the soul and elevate the spirit.

 

Instrumentalists from the Minnesota Bach Ensemble will join the Chorale for these performances. Founded in 2012 and led by conductor Andrew Altenbach, MBE comprises players from both of the Twin Cities' top orchestras.
