music for women's voices and clarinet

I am looking for repertoire for an advanced community ensemble - women's voices - with clarinet. We have a very accomplished clarinet player peforming with us on our fall 2013 concert. We have between 20 and 24 singers at any one time.
thank you,

Hi Cricket!
Look at my Pie Jesu.  It's published by Santa Barbara; you can
look at the score and listen here.  I wrote it for SSA and horn
(no piano), but it can also be done with clarinet or cello.  Of
course, I am a horn player, so you know which version I prefer!

Can your player also play bass clarinet?
I have a trilogy of a cappella settings of poems by Sarah White for women's chorus, and the third one uses bass clarinet.  The first in the set has just been published by Boosey & Hawkes and requires a soprano soloist.  It can be heard on my website:  The next two pieces are still being engraved, but I could get you scores.
Best wishes,

I'm not sure if Caroline plays bass clarinet. I'll check out your website - thank you!

Hi Cricket:
I have a setting of the Bliss Carmen poem, The Heart of Night, for SSAA and clarinet.  The text of the poem may be found at this link:
The piece runs a bit under 5 minutes.
If you would like to receive a pdf and an mp3 of the Finale playout for perusal let me know.

I highly recommend David Sasso's "Night".  Beautiful piece and text!  Good to show off clarinet!

Jaakko Mäntyjärvi has a delightful little piece called Eel reverie ( It's only a couple of minutes long, not too demanding, and would probably work well with your forces.
